OFCE, Observatoire français des conjonctures économiques

OFCE is an independent and publicly-funded centre whose activities focus on economic research, forecasting and the evaluation of public policy. The OFCEs mission is to “ensure that the fruits of scientific rigour and academic independence serve the public debate about the economy”. The OFCE fulfils this mission by conducting theoretical and empirical studies, taking part in international scientific networks, and assuring a regular presence in the media through close cooperation with the French and European public authorities. The work of the OFCE covers most fields of economic analysis, from macroeconomics, growth, social welfare programmes, taxation and employment policy to sustainable development, competition, innovation and regulatory affairs.

AK  (Chamber of Labour, Vienna)

The Chambers of Labour employ a staff of highly qualified experts who act as a think-tank for employees' interests, conducting studies on a wide range of relevant issues. The Chambers of Labour thus always have an up-to-date scientific basis for effective policy-making on behalf of employees. They closely co-operate with the other Austrian Social Partners in conducting and publishing joint studies on social and economic issues. The results of these studies feature prominently in Austria's political discourse and frequently serve as policy guidelines.

The Economic Council of the Labour Movement (ECLM) is a Danish economic policy institute and think-tank working, founded in 1936, to promote social justice in Denmark. ECLM is aiming at a society where economic growth and wealth does not result in increased inequality and new social divisions. Our vision is a society where the economically strong as well as the economically weak, have the same opportunities when it comes to taking an education and follow their personal goals. ECLMs main objective is to devise and communicate social and economic knowledge, which can qualify and widen the public debate and guide policy makers. ECLM is working both on own initiatives but also in cooperation with The Danish Labour Movement to provide analyzes, reports and economic forecasts, focusing on social and economic problems and solutions.
